INDIGENOUS HISTORY, DREAMTIME STORIES and BUSH TOOLS session

EXCURSION

90 minute bush walk and talk

Koora means “In the beginning

Middi means "the medium"

Programs are structured for different age groups and teacher consultation as to content covered is welcome

 
  • Learn about the local Wadjuk People and the important Dreaming trail that is the Swan River, students will develop a greater understanding of the connection between Indigenous people and the land

  • Discover the traditional names of various places and items relevant to the local area

  • See various bush tools and implements and learn of how they were made during our hands on artefact presentation

  • Listen to a Dreamtime story
